COSMETIC LABEL CASE STUDIES
Labelservice have helped out with various cosmetic label solutions. Please find below a few examples, but to keep up to date with our latest case studies go to http://www.labelservice.co.uk/blog
The latest cosmetic labelling regulations proved troublesome for a lipstick manufacturer, when the amount of copy that legislation demanded they included on their labels proved impossible to fit onto their labels. With the help of Labelservice, they designed a peel and reveal label that gave them three printable pages.
A hair gel manufacturer was launching a new product aimed at the traditional male barbers market. They needed a lid and a side label and also wanted to achieve a vintage look. Labelservice helped out with a two part label set, printed onto an antique cream stock with an additional matt laminate. The label set saved them costs as opposed to buying two different labels, whilst the label quality was just what the customer wanted.
A new business startup wanted help with the design of their labels. They had their logo and an idea of a look they wanted to achieve, but no more than that. The customer worked closely with Labelservice to create the brand they wanted, whilst we also advised on the label material and finish.
A handwash manufacturer wanted to improve the quality of their labels. They were using a clear PET container with a clear label, but the whole product was not as clean looking as they were hoping as the clear label material still showed up some marks. Labelservice took over and printed the labels on a clear on clear PP, which gave the product a true ‘no label look’.
A candle manufacturer was launching a range of new scents, but wanted a low cost solution. Using the latest digital technology, Labelservice printed a series of beautiful four colour designs on a white laid paper, giving the range a premium feel.
A skincare company wanted a small run of labels printed, but they needed to be of a high enough quality to withstand bathside conditions. Labelservice printed on a high gloss white PP with a strong permanent adhesive, and added a gloss laminate to protect against the damp and potentially soaking conditions.
A small body oils business was desperate to find a supplier they could work with. They had been let down by another printer and needed 8 sorts of labels for a product launch which was due in 4 days. Labelservice took their designs and printed the entire range on a gloss white PP material, along with additional gold foil, within 48 hours.
A toiletries manufacturer won a contract to supply a chain of hotels with their soaps, gels and other bathside products. The range included various materials, finishes and quantities, and they were struggling to find one supplier who could not only offer the different labels themselves, but also offer the total logistical and commercial package. Labelservice put together an offer that gave them everything they needed from a single source of supply, with a combination of flexo and digital labels.
A cosmetics business had a range of products, but the containers that they were using were different. Some were strong PET containers, whilst some were squeezable tubes and bottles. The labels were being applied by machine, and they were having problems with creasing not only upon application, but also post production. Labelservice reviewed the situation and helped out by supplying the labels on both PP and PE, matching the different containers with the suitable label materials.
